Executive Manager – Human Resources

Cindy joined the Angostura family in April 2023 as Manager – Human Resources and was appointed to the role of Executive Manager – Human Resources in February 2024. In her current role she provides strategic leadership and guidance on all people management matters, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive employee management services to our employed and contingent workforce. She plays a pivotal role in shaping our Company culture to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, while also enhancing employee engagement, safety and wellbeing, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Cindy has close to two decades of expertise in Human Resource Management. She is an advocate for the HR profession and for the development of organizational cultures that both enhance employee experience and support business success. This advocacy is supported through her active involvement with the Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

Prior to her role at Angostura, Cindy held the position of Sector Human Resources Manager with the Automotive and Distribution Sectors within ANSA McAL Limited, where she demonstrated expertise in strategic human resources, managing the optimization of human capital through performance and talent management and succession planning, training and development and competency-based progression planning.

She is currently the holder of a MSc. Global Human Resource Management from the University of Liverpool and a BSc. Management Studies from the University of the West Indies. Cindy is also a certified facilitator with the Leadership Management Institute for their suite of leadership development programmes and is certified with Prosci Inc. in Change Management and with the Balanced Scorecard Institute as a Balanced Scorecard Associate and KPI Associate.
