Alana, a senior Human Resource professional with a wealth of expertise and knowledge, was appointed as a Director on the Board of Angostura Holdings Limited (AHL) in November 2019.

She is also a member of AHL's Human Resource and Compensation Committee. She joined Angostura in June 2008 as Senior Manager - Human Resources and was later promoted to the role of Executive Manager - Human Resources and Administration that she held until November 2015 before moving on to Methanex Limited.

She is currently the Director Human Resources - Global Manufacturing at Methanex Limited.

For the period 1994 – 2001, Alana worked at local companies such as RBTT Bank Limited, Process Plant Services Limited, Titan Methanol and Agostini’s Limited where she served in various specialized roles in the area of Human Resource Management.

In 2004, she expanded her portfolio as a Senior Human Resource Officer at Harris Interactive located in London, UK. On her return to Trinidad in 2005, she retained various managerial roles at Nestlé Trinidad & Tobago Ltd., Angostura Limited and then onto Methanex Limited.

Alana volunteers at The Shelter for Battered Women and Children based in Port of Spain, Trinidad, where she also served as a member of the Board until 2019.
