WHEN WERE YOU BORN?
Angostura® Reserva is a supple and luxurious rum aged in oak casks up to three years. It is then twice filtered through charcoal to remove the golden colour and impurities acquired during the barrel ageing process, after which, it is ready to be enjoyed.
ANGOSTURA® 5 YEAR-OLD
Angostura® 5 year-old rum is aged in bourbon casks for a minimum of 5 years. It is distilled using Angostura’s five-column continuous still; filtered through charcoal to remove impurities, but not so much that it alters the inherently rich flavour.
Angostura® 7 year-old rum is a blend of light, medium and heavy rums distilled in Angostura’s continuous still to different intensities before each being matured in hand-selected Bourbon Oak casks for a minimum of seven years. After blending, the rum is returned to bourbon oak casks to allow the blend to marry.
Angostura® has more than 190 years of expertise in the art of rum making. Angostura® 1787 rum is a super-premium blend of rums aged for a minimum of 15 years. It is made from a selection of rums carefully chosen from Angostura’s vast ageing warehouses. Angostura® 1787, a rum to celebrate history.
Another award-winning premium rum, Angostura 1824®, is uniquely hand-blended after having been aged exclusively in charred oak barrels for a minimum of 12 years to yield a perfect rum.
