Angostura® wins TTMA Award for Most Successful Market Entrant

Angostura® has won the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) Award for Most Successful Market Entrant in the large category, at the recently held Excellence in Manufacturing Awards, which recognise the highest standards in manufacturing excellence, and rewards those who have made significant contributions to the development of T&T. The Award for Most Successful Market Entrant is given to a company that has successfully traded goods to a new export market within the last two years and best demonstrates excellence in the trade and export of products. Angostura®’s strategic thrust into new markets has resulted in record-breaking levels of new market penetration into Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia (the EMEAA region), with entry into 19 new markets in the last two years — a tremendous achievement and a major stepping stone as Angostura® works to secure its position as a world leader in bitters and spirits. In 2017 alone, the House of Angostura® entered the markets of Kazakhstan, Moldova, Croatia, Hungary, Taiwan, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, and Poland, topping the company’s eight new market launches in 2016. In the first half of 2018, Angostura® launched its brands in two additional new markets, Azerbaijan and Slovenia, and the company plans to enter two more new markets later this year: Vietnam and China.
