On March 17th, Angostura® aromatic bitters was featured in two segments during the Cocktail Moment on the Rachel Maddow Show, on MSNBC. Rachel encouraged the audience to take their bottles off the shelves and start using them and also told viewers to stop hoarding their cherished bottles as the product was now becoming available across America again.
On the segment toasting St. Patrick’s Day, the bitters was used in the Oisin’s Dram, a whisky cocktail created by Greg Best - View the feature here - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/#35922380 . The product was also used by Ti Martin, proprietor of Commander’s Palace making the “Sazerac” in New Orleans, where the Cocktail first started.
